On August 28, 2025 the Florida Chapter ISA will hold a seminar titled, Wind, Wood, and Risk: Arboriculture in the Path of the Storm in Clearwater, Florida. This one day seminar will cover everything from building hurricane proof office logistics, Biomechanics, business strategies for preparations before a hurricane, business strategies for restorations after a hurricane, along with how to stay safe while on the ground and in the tree after a hurricane rolls through. We have three terrific speakers coming in to teach the class, Danae Jackson, Brian Kane, all the way from the University of Massachusetts, and Colin Kelly, truly experts in their field.
